I don’t view pornography because the bible and my mommy say it’s wrong.
That would have been my answer if I were asked whether or not I view pornography back in high school. Since then things have changed.
I still don’t view pornography. Part of it is the morals and teachings that were instilled within me as I was growing up – but lately I’ve been questioning a lot of things, and because of this class I’ve had the opportunity to dig within myself and find the method to my madness.
I don’t view pornography for a few reasons:
1. My faith. I try to live a pretty pure life, and filling my mind with things that aren’t pleasing to the God that I serve isn’t what I stand for.
2. Respect for women. I believe that pornography is degrading to women and because of that I don’t want to put myself in a situation to compromise my convictions. I also want to be able to respect my future wife 100%, and to me that means not having images of other women in my mind.
I only have two reasons why I don’t view porn. That’s reason enough for me. What are your reasons as to why you do or don’t watch porn?

Anyway, I tried to write a post on my own – kind of wanted to toot your horn for you! You deserve it, but for some reason I am getting a white page when I try to write a new post. It is quite aggravating to say the least.
Keep up the good work – I enjoy reading! And it appears many others do too!
By the way, your reasons are wonderful – you don’t need a lot. Those are two impt ones. Too bad more men were not like you!
